R+T Asia

The R+T Asia trade fair, established in 2005, is a pivotal event in the roller shutter, sun protection, and rolling and garage door sectors. The acronym R+T stands for “Rollläden, Tore”, translating to “roller shutters, doors” in English. Organized by VNU Exhibitions Asia in collaboration with Messe Stuttgart, the event is held annually at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China. R+T Asia primarily focuses on the demands of the Asia-Pacific markets, in addition to the import of foreign products and the export of high-quality Chinese goods.

The trade fair spotlights innovative technologies and products associated with roller shutters, sun protection, and rolling and garage doors. Exhibitors from a range of industries, notably construction, architecture, and design, showcase their products and services at the event. Industry professionals, manufacturers, and business owners with an interest in these sectors make up the main attendees. R+T Asia is part of a global series of trade fairs held in various locations, including R+T in Stuttgart, R+T Turkey, and the Sun Shading Expo North America. This international series reinforces R+T’s standing as a premier event in its field. Lastly, the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, where the fair takes place, is a cutting-edge venue and the world’s largest exhibition complex. Its prime location in Shanghai facilitates easy access for both national and international visitors, boasting excellent transport links to Shanghai’s airports and the city center.
On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 3 days of the fair, from 27. February to 01. March 2019, about 642 exhibitors and 41505 visitors from 103 countries on the R+T Asia in Shanghai. The R+T Asia will take place on 3 days from Tuesday, 28. May to Thursday, 30. May 2024 in Shanghai.
