The Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong, commonly known as AAF Hong Kong, is an esteemed annual event showcasing contemporary art. It takes place each spring at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The fair’s origins trace back to London in 1999, when it was established by Ramsay Fairs Ltd. Since then, it has evolved into a key fixture on the international art calendar. Beyond Hong Kong, this event is also celebrated in major cities like Melbourne, New York, Stockholm, and Amsterdam.
This has solidified its reputation as a pivotal gathering for art aficionados globally. The fair’s mission is to democratize art access. This is evident in its price ceiling of HK$100,000 for artworks, ensuring affordability for a wide audience. Hong Kong’s rich cultural milieu serves as an ideal backdrop for this exposition, which features an array of paintings, graphics, sculptures, and photographs.
