The ICIF China, also known as the “China International Chemical Industry Fair,” stands as a leading trade fair for the chemical and petrochemical sectors. Held annually every September in Shanghai, this event has, since its inception in 1992, grown to become one of China’s most significant and esteemed industry gatherings. Moreover, it’s an integral component of the China Petroleum & Chemical Industry Week (CPCIW). Spearheaded by the CCPIT Sub-Council of Chemical Industry—a key figure in the Chinese chemical landscape—the ICIF China strives to bridge local industries with international markets, thereby championing the growth and global reach of China’s chemical and petrochemical sectors.
Throughout the fair, attendees can explore a broad spectrum of products and services from the chemical and petrochemical realms. This includes the unveiling of cutting-edge technologies, the introduction of new products, the presentation of specialized services, and much more. Drawing professionals, industry leaders, and experts from the chemical, petrochemical, and allied sectors, the event offers a unique platform to keep abreast of the latest trends, forge business relationships, and expand professional networks. Hosted at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC)—among Asia’s foremost exhibition venues—the ICIF China not only accentuates Shanghai’s stature as a pivotal international trade nexus but also illuminates the city’s pivotal role in accommodating globally-relevant events such as itself.
