The “Music” fair – China Guangzhou International Musical Instruments Expo – is an annual international trade fair for musical instruments held at the China Import & Export Fair Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou. Since its inception in 2004, it has established itself as a significant event in the music industry. The fair is organized by the Guangdong International Science and Technology Exhibition Co., Ltd., the China Musical Instrument Information Center, and the Guangdong Science & Technology Cooperation Center. The Pazhou Complex, one of Asia’s largest exhibition centers, serves as the venue, highlighting the importance of Guangzhou as a transportation hub and economic center in Southern China.

The “Music” fair covers various sectors of the music industry, ranging from musical instruments and audio technology to music production and publishing, as well as live entertainment and artist management. As a platform for companies to showcase their products and services, it allows industry professionals to stay informed about current trends and developments. Highlights of the fair include the presentation of new musical instruments and technologies, expert workshops, seminars, live performances, and networking events. The fair offers local musicians, music schools, and cultural institutions the opportunity to connect with international experts and companies. This promotes the exchange of knowledge, the improvement of skills, and the establishment of new partnerships, enriching the local music scene and supporting its development. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 24. February to 27. February 2019, about 705 exhibitors and 81154 visitors on the Music in Guangzhou. A very special event is the 20th anniversary edition of the Music, which takes place on 4 days from Thur., 23.05.2024 to Sun., 26.05.2024 in Guangzhou.
