New Material Industry Show (NMIS)

The New Material Industry Show (NMIS) is a trade fair focusing on new materials and their industrial applications. It is held annually in the autumn in Shanghai, China, and forms part of the China International Industry Fair (CIIF), one of Asia’s leading industrial exhibitions. The NMIS acts as a platform for companies, scientists, and professionals from around the globe to showcase and discuss the latest developments, trends, and innovations in the field of new materials. The exhibition encompasses a wide range of topics, including nanomaterials, composite materials, high-performance plastics, special metals and alloys, as well as surface technologies and coatings.

Particular emphasis is placed on the application of these materials across various industrial sectors such as automotive, aerospace, energy, electronics, and construction. The trade fair offers a unique opportunity to familiarise oneself with the latest advancements in the world of new materials, establish business relationships, and take advantage of the synergies created by the simultaneous hosting of nine leading industrial exhibitions at the same venue. These include the Industry Automation Show (IAS), the Energy-Saving & Industrial Accessory Show (EIAS), the Information & Communication Technology Show (ICTS), the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS), the Energy Show (ES), the New Energy Auto Show (NEAS), the Robotics Show (RS), the Scientific & Technological Innovation Show (STIS), and, of course, the New Material Industry Show (NMIS). The trade fair is held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, one of the largest and most modern exhibition centres in the world. The NECC boasts an exhibition area of 500,000 square metres, extensive infrastructure, and state-of-the-art facilities, making it an ideal venue for international trade exhibitions.
The New Material Industry Show (NMIS) will take place on 5 days from Tuesday, 24. September to Saturday, 28. September 2024 in Shanghai.
