HEIE Shenzhen 26. – 28. November 2026 | International Hydrogen Energy Industry Exhibition

The HEIE – Asia International Hydrogen Energy Industry Exhibition is an international trade fair for hydrogen energy and hydrogen technologies, covering the entire hydrogen value chain. As a specialist industry platform, it brings together manufacturers, technology providers, energy companies, research and development organisations, investors, buyers, and political and industrial decision-makers. The exhibition reflects key developments in the hydrogen economy, which is increasingly shaped by decarbonisation, renewable energy and emerging industrial applications.

HEIE takes place annually in Shenzhen at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center and is organised by Zhenwei International Exhibition Group. The Shenzhen event evolved from the HEIE Beijing International Hydrogen Energy Technology and Equipment Exhibition, extending its established exhibition concept to capitalise on the economic and technological potential of the Greater Bay Area.

HEIE focuses on the entire hydrogen value chain, from production and storage to transport and end-use applications. Exhibits include technologies for green and renewable hydrogen, as well as hydrogen produced as an industrial by-product. The exhibition also covers high-pressure gas storage, liquid hydrogen and solid-state storage solutions, transport and distribution equipment, hydrogen refuelling stations and associated refuelling systems. Other key areas include fuel cells, components and technical systems for hydrogen-powered vehicles, as well as solutions for hydrogen trucks and buses. Applications for industry, energy and power supply, energy storage and buildings are also represented. As a result, the exhibition is aimed not only at companies operating directly within the hydrogen sector, but also at businesses and organisations involved in energy supply, plant and mechanical engineering, mobility and the automotive industry, logistics, chemicals and petrochemicals, materials technology, infrastructure, renewable energy, and research and development.
Beyond the exhibition itself, HEIE promotes technology transfer, procurement and business development. Specialist forums and conferences address topics including hydrogen strategies, government policy and regulatory frameworks, technological innovation, successful application models and supply chain challenges. The programme is complemented by procurement and cooperation events, as well as international sourcing initiatives designed to connect suppliers directly with potential buyers.
Trade visitors include buyers, engineers, developers, technical specialists and senior managers, company executives, project managers and investors, as well as representatives of industry associations, research institutions and public-sector organisations. Its integration into the China Hi-Tech Fair also enables HEIE to reach visitors beyond the hydrogen sector, creating opportunities to engage with companies and decision-makers from a wide range of technology-driven industries.
The Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center provides HEIE with one of the largest and most modern exhibition venues in China. The venue is easily accessible, with the Guozhan and Guozhan North metro stations on Lines 12 and 20 providing direct access to the exhibition grounds. It is also served by bus, regional rail and road connections. HEIE therefore combines a highly specialised hydrogen industry exhibition with a location offering direct access to one of Asia’s most dynamic technology, manufacturing and trading regions.
