“Prolight + Sound Guangzhou” is the largest platform for the audiovisual, professional light and sound industries in China, with a revamped direction leaning more towards system integration in the areas of audio, lighting, communication, conferencing and KTV. The first exhibition was organized by the Guangdong International Science & Technology Exhibition Company (STE) in 2003. A strategic cooperation with Messe Frankfurt to co-organise Prolight + Sound Guangzhou was established in 2013, which aims to uphold its position as a comprehensive industry platform through featuring a whole spectrum of products from the sectors of pro audio, lighting, stage equipment, KTV, parts & accessories, communication & conferencing, as well as projection & display.
As the pro-AV and IT industry continues to undergo a paradigm shift that is driven by technological convergence, integrated solutions applied in audio, lighting, KTV, communication and conferencing have become the mainstream. Numerous technology verticals, including artificial intelligence, Internet of Things (loT), systems engineering, system integration, automation & control, convergent technology, and media control will also make bigger inroads into the entertainment industry.
