The Energy Show (ES) in Shanghai is a specialised trade fair in the energy sector, taking place annually in the autumn as part of the China International Industry Fair (CIIF). It was established to showcase the latest developments in the energy sector and to promote the exchange of knowledge and technologies. The fair is organised by the Donghao Lansheng (Group) Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Hannover Milano Fairs Shanghai Ltd. and Deutsche Messe AG. This partnership enables the attraction of a global audience and the presentation of the latest innovations from around the world. The Energy Show focuses on renewable energies, energy efficiency, and energy management.

Exhibited products and services include solar and wind energy systems, energy storage solutions, smart power grids, and energy monitoring systems. A highlight of the fair includes various expert presentations and discussion panels, where industry and science experts discuss current challenges and future trends in the energy sector. The CIIF is a major industrial event in China, comprising nine specialised exhibitions, including the Shanghai Industry Automation Show (IAS), the Energy-Saving & Industrial Accessory Show (EIAS), the Information & Communication Technology Show (ICTS), the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS), the New Energy Auto Show (NEAS), the Robotics Show (RS), the Scientific & Technological Innovation Show (STIS), and the New Material Industry Show (NMIS). As part of the CIIF, the Energy Show benefits from significant synergies of leading industry expos, all occurring simultaneously at the same venue.
