Art Basel Hong Kong 28. – 30. March 2024 | Exhibition of modern and contemporary art

The Art | Basel Hong Kong, established in 2013, is the world’s leading art fair for modern and contemporary art. It is held annually in March and is organized by MCH Group AG, following the model of the original Art Basel, which has been taking place in Switzerland since 1970. The expansion to Hong Kong was a significant step to facilitate and promote access to the art scene in the Asia-Pacific region. The main themes of the fair are the presentation and celebration of modern and contemporary art.

Works from major masters of modern art to the most talented emerging artists are presented in various fields. Exhibition pieces range from paintings and sculptures to installations, photographs, film, video, digital art, and much more. Art | Basel Hong Kong not only promotes the local and national art scene, but also draws international attention to the art scene in Hong Kong. Highlights of the fair include not only presentations of artworks but also a diverse accompanying program, which includes roundtable discussions, artist talks, and more. The exhibitors are primarily from the art industry, including galleries, museums, art foundations, and other artistic organizations.
